Riding through Polk City w/friends last week.....lead rider pulled into the parking lot of this very unassuming little restaurant.....Food/some of the best home cooking outside of your Granny's kitchen Value/Best there is Service/Friendly country style...local corrections officers eat here and added to the atmosphere. Hands down a wonderful place to stop at...in fact: If your looking for a destination ride for lunch....head on over....I guarantee you won't be disappointed. PS: Home Made Deserts (best orange cake) I had chicken fried steak (not greasy), black eyed peas, collard greens, mashed spuds (real), ice tea and cake. French fries are hand cut.

Looks deceiving from the outside. Nice local diner, excellent for breakfast. Great biscuits and super service. Very reasonably priced.

Best place to eat, and the only place to eat, in Polk City. Actually not too bad. Surprising large menu selection - liver to chicken to pizza. We had a large group, and all our food was good. I'd go again if I'm ever one of the 50 people in Polk City.

Great spot right off hwy 33 but blink and you'll miss it. We actually stopped at the gas station and asked about a local diner these are the best stops.
